Hi all!

In this post I will feature a very pretty, very affordable eyeshadow palette from Wet n Wild coloricon range – ‘Vinyl Collection’.

This eyeshadow palatte is a part of Wet n Wild limited edition silver lake collection which was launched in spring 2015. There are 5 eyeshadow palettes in the collection, each having 6 shadows. The entire collection is all about bright colors and has nice mix of textures!

Price: Each palette costs about 4 USD. I got the entire collection at a discounted price of USD 15.

Vinyl Collection is the most wearable palette from the range which has gorgeous warm toned shades in different finishes. The packaging is pretty basic but compact. It also comes with two small applicators, which are not that bad and comes in rescue for touch ups. There is no mirror attached to it… but I am okay with it if the quality is such amazing!

Wet n Wild is well known for delivering bomb products at very affordable rate. All the shades in this palette are very very pigmented! Out of 6 shades, there is only one matte shade and rest 5 have shimmery/metallic finishes. Even the matte shade is so insanely pigmented and does not feel crumbly at all! The shimmery shades are absolute delight to work with! They apply so buttery and show up vivid colors!

Shade 1: Beige, matte, very pigmented
Shade 2: Orangy golden, metallic, very pigmented and buttery smooth, my favorite shade in the palette
Shade 3: Forest green, shimmery, pigmented

Shade 4: Pale pink, glittery
Shade 5: Deeper mauvish pink, metallic, very smooth and pigmented
Shade 6: Dark cranberry brown with golden flakes, very nice formula

Staying power is above average. They do not require any fancy eye primer to intensify the color or elongate the wear time. A simple coat of concealer sealed with some powder does the job.

Here I have used Shade2 all over the lid, Shade3 in the center and shade6 in the outer corner

This is how I have paired this neutral shimmery eye makeup look with soft nude pink lips and highlighted skin!

Highlighter : Sivanna Shimmer Bricks, reviewed HERE
Lips: Miss Claire Lip Liner Magenta Pink ( reviewed HERE) as base, Wet n Wild Mega Last lipstick Rose Bud (reviewed HERE) and Lakme 9 to 5 lipstick Coffee Command (reviewed HERE) on the top to neutralize the pink and give satin matte finish

Final Word:

Fab product! If you like shimmery/metallic/pearl eyeshadows, you will love this palette.

XOXO
