Valentines Day Makeup Look, Tutorial, Product Suggestion

Hello!

Love is in the air as it is Valentine’s day!! And today’s post is about an easy soft romantic makeup look which I have created keeping that special day in mind. As the post title says, I have played up with subtle pastel shades for doing my eyes and lips!!

Before we begin, let me remind you guys, I tried to keep everything as simple as possible. This is probably the easiest Valentines’s day makeup look you would be seeing! It took me 10 minutes to achieve the look with minimal products possible!! So if you want to spend more time with your special someone than your makeup, this is for you girls :p

Base:

My favorite Ponds’ BB cream as overall base, Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer on problem areas and finally everything sealed with MAC Studio Fix powder! My tip is, keep your base simple and fresh! Boys don’t like overly done caked up makeup.

Idea is to match my eyes with my outfit! I started with applying Lakme 9 to 5 Lip color ‘Coffee command’ as a base. Then dabbed a sea-green colored eyeshadow from Faces 'Aquamarine' palette on top of it with my fingertips! To blend the shadow, I have mixed the Contour and Bronzer shades from City Colors contour palette and applied along crease area!

Then for my brows, I used the mix of grey and black shade from Maybelline The Nudes palette.
Finally 2 coats of Maybelline Hyper Curl mascara finishes the eye makeup! So very easy :)

Cheeks:

I have used the beautiful dolly pink shade (4th one from the top) from my Sivanna Colors shimmer brick palette for cheeks! It has beautiful sheen to it which eliminates the need of applying a separate highlighter!

Lips:

I wore the shade ‘Tickle me Pink’ from Colorbar Take Me As I am range of chubby sticks! It is a beautiful Barbie pink shade with gorgeous matte texture and creates a nice contract with the sea green eye makeup :)

XOXO
